i had a gas forge years ago and i wish i would have never sold it.  there's nothing like beating on a red hot piece of steel, except maybe working some osage or cane.  chris forged me a hawk and i can't wait to get it.

Ryan I've found my hawk, I didn't make it I got it off one of the Clout shoot prize tables at MoJam, is particularly good for cutting out the stringers while splitting osage, etc.  Seems like it works bettern a hatchet with it's long skinny blade.  That knife blank looks excellent.  No pin holes?
