An old handsaw blade makes really good trade points, and they will get razor sharp, unlike the mild steel ones.

Jake Levi:
I havent seen the 1" ones on the 3 Rivers site, will ask them.

I am looking through what I have to cut some out, I want to make some and buy some, if all goes well will be making at least a couple dozen this season from Red Osier.
