Strikes 3 and 4 for Miss Copperhead
Ranger B:
This little bow is really put the meat in the freezer.
stringstretcher:
What are the spec's of that bow if I may ask?
Cacatch:
Well, ya got me envious for one...Where ya huntin' squirrel this time of year? I wish I could, but here in Indiana we gotta wait til August. Nothing to hunt since turkey went out May 9 til August 15...get's pretty boring.
Good shootin' though! Dang squirrels can be hard to hit.

Ranger B:
We have a spring season in TN. They are indeed hard to hit - you're only seeing the hits and not the misses ;D
I try to take what I consider high percentage shots (15 yards and closer). I've shot at enough of them that I know how to lead them a little too. I anticipate where they will jump becasue they WILL jump when they hear you release.
Ranger B:
Miss Copperhead is 66" NTN. Osage with deer antler tip overlays. Obviously, she's backed with two nice copperheads. The bow is just about perfectly center shot. I originally made this bow 57# @ 27" but about 3 weeks ago decided to make her more fun to shoot so I retillered. I got it down to 43# and shot it for a week. About 3 days ago I checked it on my scale and it said 38# but I don't know how accurage my scale is. I need to test her at Pappy's.
Regardless, I'm shooting tonkin cane arrows out of it. They average about 520 gr. and they shoot extremely flat and fast. This bow is shooting very nice and it's light so I can really enjoy shooting it.
