Removing twist in limbs by nock placement

My ash stave had about a 70 degree twist in it. I have got that down to 15-20 degrees by heat treatment but the last few degrees are reluctant to go. I have read elsewhere on the forums that it is possible to correct a twisted in a longbow by nock placement. Can anyone enlighten me as to how this is done?
