Obsidian for sinew/skins

I have some big ol' cobbles of obsidian from a few years ago. Never really got that into knapping to use it all, so I figured I'd might be able to send them to someone who can. I have eight large pieces, each a couple pounds each. I used the handiest thing we all know as reference... a beloved issue of PA ;)

I'm looking for sinew mostly (I'm on a sinew backing binge), but snake/fish/whatever waterproof skins to protect a sinew back will work too.
