I gained 2.5#/inch when I piked.
I gained 10 pounds of draw weight when I went from 72"to 68"

Hey Kink, it looks great!  Good work on the bow, I think with your draw weight and draw length that this bow is not overly strained at all.  At the 70" length there was too high a degree of "overbuild" and you would have had a problem with some handshock and low arrow speed.  I bet it's a sweeter shooter now, too.

Now get back in the shop and start the next one!

That's the idea. Start another just like you did. Piking is a bowyer band aid which teaches you nothing about making weight. There are buidlalongs on my site. Your bow looks great! Jawge
