i took the bow and snapped it over my leg this morning. the cherry chrysaled from rise to tip. the backing was 11o thousands thick so maybe it needs to be thinner next time. i have two more pieces i'll try and then im done. definetly not a big fan of cherry. on the other hand i have several nice pieces of sugar maple that i cant seem to get to bend so im looking forward to seeing how it works.

I better thin the hickory backing more on the cherry bow I have in the works.
Seems like everyone is havin trouble with cherry.

Very nice bow Jaime. I envy the room you have in your shop too. I use my garage....got so much stuff stored in there, I ain't got room to cuss a cat.
