No i never m ade one form antler.....but yess...i think u are right...u need a big  piece of antler....

 walkabout, I've made them from the paddles on moose and caribou antlers. They are thick and you don't have to get in the pithy part.

That's one purdy pendant. :o Really like the braid and arrowhead style. The back latch is also unique.

Absolutely beautiful pendant you made, Akila.  Ove the lines of the head and the detail all round.

Maybe you coul post a build along describing the way to do that braid?
