Hill Cane Arrows

(1/4) > >>

Mechslasher:
here's a set of hill cane arrows i just finished.  patb gave me a bundle of hill cane at the tenn. classic and this is what they turned into.  they are 32" long with apple foreshafts.  the foreshafts came from a small apple tree a buck rubbed a couple years ago.  the tree didn't survive but it did have two nice shoots coming off that i had hoped to make into arrows.  the shafts came out too light in spine so when i was looking for some foreshaft material i saw them and decided they would go to good use in this way.  hopefully get a little pay back for the buck who killed the tree.  i finished them out with a dozen woodsman broadheads i've been saving.  enjoy!

Chris, nice arrows from some very nice cane!  ;D  What weight did they come out. I'll be hunting with a set Art made from the same cane with woodsman on the business end. Mine are over 650gr.
