seen my first ever timber wolf up there,Moose, when i was in 6th grade,learned to snow shoe,cross country ski,use a compass,build a snow shelter

I know that atmosphere. I grew up in Aroostook county, a rural potato farming community in Northern Maine. Largest county east of the mississippi and the least populated per sq. mi. Not many strangers, didn't lock our doors, if ya broke down on the side of the road the first person who saw you would stop and offer a hand. School let out for a month every fall so we could pick potatos. Prom queens? Nope potato blossom queen was the girl to have...sigh...I miss it there, I just can't make a living there.
Obviously Brevard is that cool, they HAVE WHITE SQUIRRELS ;D 8)
