Anchoring, at the chin, cheek, or eye, behind the ear, advantages? Disadvantages

Im not a great shot by anymeans but what i do is stick my thumb into the pocket of where my jawbone rounds off. At the pivot basically. then i put the nock to the corner of my mouth. I then stare at where i want to hit, and if everythign is going right the arrow goes there.
