Hey guys. Good to see some of the old crew assembling here.

For what its worth I may have just found a decent North American source for 36" ash, poplar and beech shafting. Once I get my initial order sorted weighed and spined I'll have a better idea whether this really will be a decent source for long arrow shafts or not. If anyone is interested let me know.

This is steve from the warbow site, how are you all doing, i have just run my first Warbow making course and Nick, Glen, jb68(John) and a guy called Zack attended, Nick went away with a laminated warbow of 100@32, Glen made a nice warbow for his missus 70@30, jb made his at 90@32 and Zack60@28 but he is 70+ years old, very successfull two days, and 4 bows made.

I could do with attending a course like yours (not that I'll ever have the time). I just had a terrible day with cracks appearing all over my yew stave - I'm never going to get the hang of yew.
