(1/1)

PeteDavis:
I want to make a quiver.

What is a good leather punch to purchase that will last?

That should be fine if you are going to lace the quiver together especially if it has replacable tubes. For sewing a stitching chisel works better. You can get them with 1/8" blades spaced 1/8" apart and a smaller version with single, 3, 4 and 8 blades per tool.

I use a sheet metal hand punch, i believe its called a Whitney punch. I don't know if i spelled it right but it has multiple size holes and works great on harder lether.

I like Pat's way. I made my first quiver and used the stitching chisel. I'm going to make another soon ;) Also have the individual punches, but they take waayyy to long and aren't as uniform.

LEGIONNAIRE:
get a 40-50 % coupon from Michaels craft store and buy the one there, from tandy leather, very good pucher and if you get the coupn its only like 7-9 bucks.
