jamie:
actually its a primitive samsung 727 ;D. i'll put up picks of the hide when its tanned.

now the story. last week i dropped a doe. when i took the shot she turned to look and the arrow went down under her neck and buried in her chest. wasnt sure how good of a shot it was so i waited. it was around 10 degrees so i went back to the truck to warm up. was talking to some buddies on the phone and letting the deer die. about 45 minutes after the shot i heard yips and snarls. told my bud i had to go i hear coots. grabbed my bow and ran down the blood trail. saw a coyote running away. figured there was two or three there. one ham was half eaten, the chest was nibbled on and the grass bag was torn out.
yesterday i went in again and heard the coots bayin all morning at first light one cam trotting by at a good clip so i picked a spot behind the shoulder and nailed it. gonna make a nice hat
