i just use a scissors once i have my feather tied onto the shaft

I have several size and shapes of choppers and a Young burnner. Have to use the burnner outside because of the smoke and smell. Like to be able to create my own shape. Cost is a factor. They are not cheep.

I made my Burner out of an Old Weller Soldering Iron...a board...stainless steel wire....and some nails....works just fine...and I can bend a new wire for a new shape...

I have an old Young feather burner and love it...way better than a chopper. It is smelly but I just go out on the front porch and let the breeze take the smell away.

Mike, 3Rivers sells burner ribbons for a couple of bucks each.
