Hand Warmers???
RidgeRunner:
I get cold much more than when I was young.
Thinking about getting some "fuel burning" hand warmers to keep myself from freezing up.
Two types that I am aware of: Lighter Fluid and Charcoal. There is one on E-bay listed as using Kerosene?? Dont know about that.
Do any of you guys know much about them?
Do they work very well?
Do they give off any oders that might spook deer?
Thanks
David
JackCrafty:
I just use the ones that you crush and mix the chemicals. They come in small packets and you just put one in each glove or mitten. Mittens work better for this.

My wife uses them chemical ones too. She swears by them. ' Frank

I use the chemical ones in the packs also. They are cheap, last for hours and don't give off any odors at all. If you check the stores soon, they should be on clearance. I have picked up 6 packs for $.99 before. I would think that anything that burnt fuel would produce odors.

Saw some of the snap/mix ones at HD the other day but they were for feet :D they fit into the arch of the shoe I think.
I am going to get me a bag of them and the hand ones when they go on clearance just to keep on hand. 8)
