Spiro cedar deer mask replica
swamp monkey:
The whole thing is 11 and 1/2" tall 6 " wide. Ears stick out 1" each and are 2 1/2" tall. nose is 1 1/2" wide at the base. Eyes are 1X 3/4"; mouth is 1 1/4X 3/4". The ear spools may be a bit too small but I made them 1/2" dia.
The original mask is pictured below. If there is anything else you want to know I will be glad to provide it. I may have some things off. This was the best I could do with only a photo.

Thanks fellas. That stuff makes the heart smile.
Is that book you reference good for inspiring craftsmen like ourselves or is it more of a history of the people and their customs?
