center shoot bows

    I'm a hunter this is why I started building selfbows. And my bows have evoled to as close to center shot as the stave will let me most are.  I shoot ,shoot arrows this gives me a wide range in spine. Witch helps because it's really hard to make more than a few at close to matched matched weights. Dosn't matter I don't shoot that good anyway.  Beautifull arrow flight dead quit and I shoot off the wood with nothing on the string.Who else likes building and shooting center shot selfbows.

I am a little too new to post anything of relevance here, but right now each bow i build is too precious to weaken with a severe arrow pass but as i build more and more bows i plan to experiment with how close i can get to center shot.

No center shot bows for me, i just shoot longer arrows  ;)

I build a shelf into mine, but as my arrow building becomes improved and I harvest a few more deer,  I think i'll go more primitive.

Ryano:
I cut mine mostly about 1/8" off of center. Never had one break from cutting in arrow shelf yet.
