Elk Scales

(1/3) > >>

Mechslasher:
here's one i just finished up for next season.  i had some nice elk anter scales i cut up several months that i'd been saving for a special knife like this one.  it's 6" long and is made from 154cm steel.  enjoy!

El Destructo:
Sweet looking Knife Chris.....what did you use to do the Vine Work? 154 CM....is that Chrome Molly"?

Mechslasher:
it's a crucible steel with the following:  Carbon 1.05% Chromium 14.00% Manganese 0.50% Molybdenum 4.00% Silicon 0.30%

it's some tough steel.  i'm also liking s30v steel more and more.

Cameroo:
That's a sweet looking blade.  Very nicely done! The bevel looks perfect, like it was machined into the blade!

mullet:
 That's another nice one, Chris.
