Thanks to Wolf Watcher.. I have the absolutely coolest campfire ever.  He didn't think I would be able to get the steak pounded straight or solid enough in our rocky ground.. never under estimate a girl on a mission~ I cheated and used a post pounder..
Tonight was the first fire with the grate in place.. It worked better than I hoped. Storm came in and tried to blow my fire away. But I still got the steaks cooked to perfection. ~ Beautiful work as always Wolf Watcher.. Thank you SOOOOOO much!  I owe you and Eloise Dinner ~ cooked on my new BBQ grate

That is very nice Stacy. That ole Joe is pretty incredible guy ain't he.  That's a heck of a thunderhead in the background.

Yes Pat.. Joe is an amazing man.  He did a great job on this grill as he does with everything he makes. this thunder head came up out of no where.. with some terrible wind.  I was standing over the fire with a hose waiting for the steaks to cook, and hoping I didn't burn down the country side.  Now it is still and quiet out there, but no way to rebuild a fire as it is full of water right now. But there is always tomorrow night~

Darn, now I want to take my steaks out of the freezer!  I have left overs to finish first. :(  That thunder head, looks like it might have had some "hard water" in it..... ;)  But..... fresh grilled steaks, Very rare of course, and sitting inside, listening to and watching the storm, a little wine.....Great views.....Darn, theres those steaks calling me again!

Stacey:  Got my next issue of PA and want to tell you that I really enjoy your pictures on the covers.  You were right when you said they got the colors of the bull all wrong!  Way too much red!  Bulls just don't look like that in real life!  Thanks for sharing your talent!  A/Ho Joe
