the bottom limb was my problem child. there is a spot about mid limb where the back dips in about 1/4". was really worried about a hinge developing there. but I left the belly more proud there and it all worked out.

Dave that is absolutely a sweet looking bow!  Love the dips and dives in the sap wood, and the tips and tiller look awesome. Looks like we will have three very similar gnarly yew bows at the rendezvous ;D  Congratulations.

Sweet little bow! That bottom limb looks like a ribbon blowing in the wind. 8)

I wished I could work with yew,but it definitely doesn't jive with my senses! :'(

Simply gorgous is all I can say. The whoop de doos are amazing. I have a nice piece of yew I traded for that I am looking forward to working on. The contrast is really stunning.  Danny

I personally feel those sister bows are by far some of my most favorite bows I've had the honor of seeing on this site.  If I could one day build bows of that quality out of challenging wood like these I'd had achieved one of my personal goals.  Beautiful work Gentlemen.

That is a beautiful bow. I have gotten to work with Yew just a couple of times but truly love working with that wood. Thanks for sharing.
