osage stave other species

Pm sent. I may be trading for a piece of hackberry too. I'm still waiting for some hhb.

I have some american white elm, it has a slight angular snake to it though. I can get pics if you are interested. I haven't measured it, but I think it's about 64" long. It was cut last April and has been kept dry. I would call it seasoned.

Cp, Let me see if my hackberry trade works out. I don't want to trade all my staves.  ;)

Don't blame ya at all  ;)  I'd be saying the same thing. If you decide you would like a stave, just let me know. I'll probably have this stave for a while yet. I'm working on it's sister half right now so I probably won't tear into it for a year or so.
