Years ago I took some shark catilage and built a steel press to compress it as it dried. Every few days I would tighten the bolts compresssing it more and more. Somewhere in ther middle of the project I gave up smoking pot and never finished it so can't say how it would have worked. Steve

That was a hell of a highdia.  Its a shame potheads aren't the most depedable folks. haha  If only they could remember to vote it would be legal. >:D O:) ;D

Maybe we should pick a deadline, have everyone pitch their name into a pool and then we all simultaneously post our wierd backed bows!

I'm imagining the turtle bow backed with a layer of concrete.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I quit all that about 21 years ago. My first go aqround at making bows was pretty hap hazard. I have a whole bunch of weird stuff I tried, one of the weirdest things I did was build a snail farm to harvest the snail snot and use it as a skin lubricant. My wife thought I was nuts. 25 years later their are snail farmis in business doing the same thing. I had to e email the article to my ex wife just to rub her nose in it LOL.

You'd have to keep a harem of hotties around if you want full performance out of that bow....
