looking for a good piece of leather for a knapping leg pad
Elktracker:
Im not sure what thickness most use but I was useing saddle leather and it is too thick and the other stuff I have is too thin apohlstrey leather I think. Im guessing I need something around 1/8 thick or so maybe a little thicker but flexible ??? I would like 2 pieces around 12 to 14" by 1 1/2 to 2 feet long so I can double it up for more padding and its for two people why I say two of them.
I have for trade cherry bark strips around 18" I believe ??? I can double check, Elk and deer scapulas, sinew, obsidian gold sheen, tripple flow, silver sheen and mohogany, ocean spray shafts, Elk antler sections, Yew, black locust, Ipe, for handles, atlatles, over lay ect(not bow size or billets would preffer to trade smaller sizes of the wood) PM me to talk specifics. Thanks
Josh
