New handmade tomahawk

(1/1)

HickoryBill:
I finished up this tomahawk this evening. The head is 4140 steel. Hand forged from solid stock. The head was folded and forge welded. I left the head rough and polished the heck out of it, I wanted a primitive look. The handle is a scrap piece of Osage. Now I just gotta get back into practice throwing a "hawk.  Thanks for looking.

Outbackbob48:
Bill, bring your hawk up tp the Presque Isle Trad.shoot May 27,28,29. We have a big competion or just throw for fun. Had quite a few throwers last year an expect more this year. Last years prize was a nice hawk made by Pennhawk a local smitty from clearfield, Pa. Hope to see ya there . Bob
