It is kinda wild, isn't it, Rich? It feels comfortable though. speaking of that, I was surprised to notice in all the pics shooting "HG" that I (apparently) automatically closed my bow hand. I usually only circle my top two fingers and thumb and let the bottom two fingers just be relaxed. I need to watch that closer when shooting this one and my other wood bows. Perhaps it is something I am doing with all of those, or only certain ones that it feels like I should - kinda funny to see it. It might just be because it is new to me - and could even explain some of the spread of my shots - might be gripping too hard. Sorry to ramble on - out loud thinking.

Nothing wrong with your grip Bernie, that type of handle will make you heel the bow, and that's how you want to shoot it, ..if I pick up a recurve,or what they call longbows nowadays ::) ;D ::) ;D I automatcly have my last 2 fingers open on the grip....once you get used to shooting this style you'll be surprised how accurate a crooked stick can be ;D ;D ;D ;D
