Gentlemen , I recently acquired a sheet of bamboo flooring material  3/4'x7 1/2" x96"... comprised of bamboo strips glued together presenting a quarter sawn face to the board.... Seems like it would be a good material to experiment with ...anybody have any experience using this stuff ???

We used to get great Bamboo strips for bow work from 1 800 4 bamboo... Ratan too

Thanks for all the information.  Something in the 64-66" around 55# is what I am wanting.  My experience is in mostly making fire wood.  I am very interested in doing this and the information I got here will be a start.  If I have more questions I will holler.
Thanks

In vol 12, issue 4, winter 2004, is the article about the all bamboo bows built in Japan after WWII.
"Another Tale of Bamboo Composites", by K. Koppedrayer.    You could contact the Koppedrayers at Yumi for more info on all bamboo bows.    Pat
