coyote quiver

(1/1)

sadiejane:
well, these may seem the obvious, but i need to ask before i start doing any cutting n this very nice case coyote hide i have.
most all coyote hide quivers i've seen have the head laying down the back. the only way i can see to get it like that is to cut off the head and sew it hanging  in the opposite direction.
am i missing something?  thanks fellas

Justin Snyder:
not missing anything

Sadie,
The rear ends are larger diameter than the front.....thats why the NA's made 'em "butt-up".....they used the tail as a hanging decoration by leaving it in place. So like Justin said ....if ya want the "face" at the arrow opening, and facing down, gonna need to cut it off first.
Ya didn't ask but here's some pics of the "usual" way they was made. All of these have the heads "down" but they may help ya out some.
