SPLIT finger or all 3 below?

I don't know Semo.  I've been shooting 3 under since 1992 and never once have I had a string nock under my arrow.  Never had an arrow flight problem I couldn't fix with regular tuning.  I did have problems at times with the nock moving up.  My bows over 50 lbs get 2 nocks above the arrow to help with that.  I don't doubt that having a nock above and below worked for you and it might work for me as well, but I haven't needed one below to this point.

There's a slo mo video shooting 3 under that shows the nock of the arrow sliding down the string after release, that made a believer out of me and it worked so that's what I always use. If your getting decent arrow flight with 3 under, but not perfect......put a string nock under the arrow nock and see what happens. It may not work for everybody, but I think it may work for most.

Cool video!  I keep my nocks pretty tight on the string, maybe that reduces the problem?  Back in my compound days I wish I'd seen that.  I think it explains some problems I had.

Yeah I was pretty amazed when I saw the video myself. The age of modern technology does have it's advantages, way back when we just had to guess at what was happening but now we can see it with the advancement of slo mo cameras to slow things down for us.
When I first saw the video I was only using one string nock for shooting 2 fingers under and I did get better arrow flight than when I was using split, but after watching the video I went outside and stuck another nock on my string just below the arrow nock leaving about a 1/16th clearance under the nock so it wouldn't pinch and my groups tightened up immediately. Been using the same set up ever since.

Thanks Semo, cool videos.
