looking good. Did you rub the belly with oil before heating? Looks like you got some scorching. I like to use crisco. Noticed my dog likes it too.

the limb on the left still has some twist, makes it look a little flat

Hey Bub, looking good. Be careful on that left limb that it doesn't bend too much by the fade until the rest of the limb is working. You're right, the twist is making it hard to get a good read so I could surely be wrong. You're making good progress. Keep up the good work.

What George said, Looking good,get it bending a little more in the middle and go slow. They will naturally want to bend at the fads till you get the rest of the limb moving and a little set there will show up a lot at the tips.

Id say more scraping mid limb onto the tips both limbs. But what does the tiller gizmo tell you? This is where a gizmo shines and aids big time when dealing with prop twist. I actually trust it more than a picture when dealing with twist.

got a chance to work on this bow some more, got it to 23" and to full brace, it's like 53# @ 23 and I still need six more inches of draw, want about 60# @ 29" so still gotta drop some #'s, and got the tips narrowed down. string's not centered on the handle but I think it will work, hope to get some arrows through it by the first of the week, Bub

O ya looking much better now,

:)just keep her even and you have almost got it.You can always tweak it a little with heat if it needs it to line the handle and string if it needs it after you shoot it some. Very nice job.How long is the bow ?
