well this is my last piece of seasoned wood, hopeing to get at least 2 out of it, the stave is 7ft, has 6inches of reflex,  some twist, small vertical cracks and small borers. to make a warbow out of this will be a challenge, so i figure why not share my possible failure or success with all of you. im hopeing for this to be of warbow strength, but it depends how far i have to go down from the borers.
wish me luck ;)

I think it will be an interesting challenge. As always the wood will be what it will be rather than what you would like ot to be. I hope what you want is in there.

i was looking on ebay, and well....... i saw a yew stave for 45, and it turns out i was the only one to bid so, that will be my next build along, im going to need some help with this one as ive never used yew before, its 75 inches, has been seasoned for a year, has a little twist and a few knots. it was sold by the person who does medicine bows.
