Couple of quivers

(1/2) > >>

Almostpighunter:
Here are I couple of quivers I made while following along with medicinewheel's build-a-long "How to make a wild boar quiver." Mine aren't quite at his level, but they certainly make me happy. The are also extremely comfortable and VERY quiet for a back quiver. The "blonde" one has the ears and tail. I used branches from our african sumac tree for the opening and "spine." The black quiver has no wood and is stabilized only by the "stiffness" of the leather hide. Also the facial skin/hide of the blonde is tied for contrast and can be removed easily if there are any objectors in the house.

Dang Mike,  those are very nicely done and probably tough as all get out.

You did a very nice job on these quivers. I remember the original build along that Frank(Medicinewheel) did and recognise the shape.
Haven't seen much of Frank lately. Wonder where he's been? ???
