target question

(1/2) > >>

iowabow:
Starting target practicing from the deer stand yesterday morning.  I noticed that a had better groups at 20 yards than than 10 yards.  Why would I group better at 20 yards? I thought it might be because it is more of a straight down angle and therefore an unusual stance.  What do you guys think.

Pappy:
Keep your shoulders square and bend at the waist and it should  make  no difference, people tend to drop the bow arm to line up the shot. :) It also depends on how high you are I never hunt over 12/15 feet at the highest.  :)

iowabow:
Thanks pappy I will go and give that a try

mullet:
Or, your arrows aren't tuned real tight and it takes that far for them to stabilize real good.

iowabow:
Ok good point I just rebuilt my bow so the poundage did change.  I will have use a stronger spine.  So if I fix my stance and arrow issue that should help.
