Lee Valley dowel and tennon cutter for trade
jonathan creason:
I bought this thing just a few weeks ago with expectations of turning out dozens of poplar shafts. Only problem is my cordless drill doesn't have enough juice to turn them down. I've got the cutter (3/8"), and some pieces of poplar i've already cut down to 1/2"x1/2" up for trade. I'm open to offers, the worst I can say is "no thanks".
Pat B:
What do you need or want, Jonathan? I'd like to give it a try. I have a good drill with a cord! ;)
jonathan creason:
I can always use bow wood or cane if you've got any extra laying around. Or odds and ends like feathers or sinew or such that I always seems to be running out of.
Stingray45:
It makes a nice dowel rod Pat, you will enjoy it. I saw this add and was hoping you had a 5/16" cuz I already have a 3/8" Lee Valley dowel & tennon cutter. My 18v Dewalt drills work pretty well but the battery dies out somewhat quickly. Going back to visit family this weekend, see if my Dad isn't planning to use his impact drill anytime soon, that should turn them out pretty quickly haha.

Jonathan, I have staves! Anything in particular?
