A white ash selfbow
tom sawyer:
Nice job, your large friend will love it. The drawing to the ear looks very English. You can tell the wood has thick rings, only two of them show in the working limb and the one covers nearly the length of the limb. I like having a three rings showing, it is a good way to tell how your taper is going.

I really pampered this one through, I think because of the challenge of the deep draw. Started it when there was snow on the ground. Excercised it a ridiculous amount during tillering. Cut down the tree on a ridge top, Nittany Mountain. I appreciate the appreciation.

Dave, Wow! Mighty fine lookin' bow. I bet it will really sling an arrow with that 31" draw. Excellent job!
mamba:
Thats a beauty for sure! Love the grain in ash- - great job Dave.
huntersim:
Hey Dave, good looking bow all the way around. I like the stained ash.
Fine tip job too.
