Good looking bow.... I like the finished unstrung profile.....  Maybe some day I'll make one that straight unstrung?

Thanks Pearl Drums and Coaster. The secret to keeping a straight unstrung profile,(besides using seasoned wood), is to get the entire intended working area of the limbs moving before going anywhere near the intended maximum draw weight. JMHO  God Bless

I see Pete. I had lots of boards that checked on me this summer. I've only found one hickory tree down here, but it's in a backyard in Glen Rose.

Beautiful work Pete!  I'm a huge fan of hickory as well, and i love the way that stain brought out the grain. Tiller is spot on.

I see you live in whitehouse, my mother-in-law lives just south of Tyler, not far from you.  We'll have to get together sometime when we're down that way :)
