Wood cutting.Sat.

Pappy:
We cut enough Hickory for at least 75 potential bows Sat.The tree was 24 in. at the stump and cut 5 75 i. logs to the first limb.Took most of the day but we got it cut,hauled,debarked and sealed
before we quit.Greg,Anthony and me mostly.Had another friend or 2 pitch in a little.I am sore today
as I bet they are.None of our young guys showed up so it was just us old fellows but we still
can do it when we have to. ;D

lucky it was just a cut and bruise.

That is a serious haul of some excellent looking wood. :) Jawge

Ya Jawges it was some very clean Hickory.We usually cut 1 or 2 like that each year.This was
about the biggest and cleanest I have seen at least on the 3/4/5th log.They aren't usually that
good once you get the first 1 or 2 logs. :)
