I am definitely interested. This would be my first time and I would like just a little more info. First, how does name picking work? Also I will be moving in May, so my address will change. I would post it as soon as I could. Would that be alright? Appreciate it.

The names are picked randomly usually from calendargirl after the sign up closes. Then personal messages are sent to everyone asap as to who they will be building for and where to ship the bow. If you are moving and will be having a address change then you would have to contact bevan or someone to pm your new address to the person making your bow. I would just make a note that with your info that you wont have your address until may. Im not sure how bevan would want to handle that part of it but it would also depent how soon the person making your bow gets it done as to wich address it should be shipped to. I would wait for bevan or maybe Patb to weigh in on that one but It sholdnt be a problem I wouldnt think.

Yes, an address change is workable.
When I get all the names/info, I will get them to Calendargirl. She will draw names and then you will be notified of who you are making a bow for.
You will get all the info (draw weight/draw length/shelf/no shelf/right or left hand) that I get. As I stated earlier, the info sent in is NOT an order, but a target range only. I would hope everyone would try to make the requested draw length but the weight is just a 'wish list' in my view.

Then you make the best bow you can and send it out by the closing date (yet to be finalized).
Is that enough info for you?
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

I think we should decide on a ship by date ASAP because that will play a big part in people deciding to join in or not. So does anyone have any opinions on that? I think July4 is good personally, at least no sooner IMO
