American Yew 130lb at 32"

Hi everyone

Very similar stave to what Noel has got, I got this one a few weeks after he got his.

The bow is 73" 110lb at 28" taken to 30 inch, i'll shoot it to 32" for distance but i'm not going to take it to 32" on the tiller.

As you can see the stave has character, splits along the belly, plenty of knots but no sign of compression fractures.

very nice ian, and looking at the first picture it looks like you got the circular tiller absolutely bang on... the length sounds fairly short (although i may be wrong, what was the length of the smaller bows on the mr...?), did you choose to make it that length or was that just the most you could get out of the stave? Peter

Looks realy good, I like to see a bit of character.
Just wish I was 30 years younger, I'm just about getting my latest 90# :-[ back to full draw, give it another week.
