I appreciate the honest opinions guys. Im getting to where I dont trust me anymore! I will shoot it a hundred more times and finish it off. The mesquite grip worked down so well I dont really want to cover it up.....stipple grip maybe? Never done it, but it seems simple enough.

Looks pretty darn good to me. I copied the image and flipped it in photoshop, then made it a bit transparent so you could see the mirror image/symmetry what have you.

I just kept starring at the pic trying to figure out what the hell kind of string you had on that sucker when I finally read you photo-flipped it, LOL.

Gosh, I'm pretty slow sometimes...looking really good to me bud!

Actually Lee he made the little known reverse penobscott. Instead of 2 bow, you use 2 strings. >:D
Bowmakers are a little bent, but knappers are just plain flaky.

  • The wood speaks to you. You just have to listen.

Thanks guys. I shot it last night for quite a while. Wow she is screamer, very fast and stable at 1 3/4" wide. Thats a cool trick foot! I can dig that. This may sound crazy and even a bit silly. My tillering got much easier, faster and better when I started using my eye's and arms and not any other tillering aids. No more sneak pics until I get this one dolled up.
