Warbow draw length?

How is the draw length measured, from the back, or belly of the bow? Because from the belly I can barely draw to 30". Is this long enough for a warbow? Joel

All draw lengths are measured from the back of the bow to the bottom of the nock throat. If you can't get your war bow drawn past 30" youi need to eat your Wheaties and practice more! ;D
Are you using the proper method to draw a heavy war bow. It isn't the same as we use for target or hunting.

I think all the Wheaties I've had have just increased my table muscles. I've been practice ing form on a Bowfit band. I have yet time to make a Warbow with three little kids. But hopefully by summer. I have the bow trade then my Warbow.
