My uncles place is within 15 miles of Lake Fairfield...
Been researching the Redfish bite on this lake.

Are y'all using a boat?
Or just stalking the shallows?

Gus,we get out of the boat ,either sneaking down the bank or wading.   I had'nt talked to any redfish people in a while,but I know the population was really hurt 2 summers ago with the big fish kill,(algae bloom).I saw plenty of reds (hundreds,if not thousands),over 36" floating belly up.  God Bless
