items for trade
« on: May 04, 2012, 12:02:41 pm »
Hello, I have following things I'd like to trade.

-some scrap tanned beaver fur suitable for string silencers, trim on quivers etc.
-one full tanned beaver hide
-some chunks of mule deer and elk antler (few pieces would be good for knife handles, some for overlays, I don't do any stone point work but some stuff might work for making those also)
ELK:

MULE DEER:

I'm looking for osage staves/billets (may consider other woods also, I've only used osage thus far), 50" fast flight bow string, kit for making 2 pc take down, leather for handle wraps, possibly some stone points

I have a couple of billets and all kinds of stone points and if I don't have what you want I can make them up. Also stone knife blades and finished knives. I will post some pics if you are interested. Let me know.

The full beaver hide and the chunks of elk antler have been traded.  The pieces of muledeer antler and some larger scrap pieces of tanned beaver are still available. If I get anymore elk antlers in, I will be sure to post them here. Thanks

That's what I was thinkin! Theres a german fellow on youtube that makes some wicked slingshots, and all kinds of other scary stuff. I watched a video of an antler slingshot he made, it was some professional stuff man. Really nice.
