Outbackbob48:
Joe , I keep trying, ya know those super fluted Cumberlands that Jesse was making is my new goal. :o I think I better move over the stone quarry site  8)and set up camp, I'm breaking an awful lot of them :( Bob

Wolf Watcher:
Bob:  I have one of Jessie's fluted cumberlands in my display case and its fluted perfectly down the end to the very end.  My opinion is the better the point you are attempting to flute and the very best set up of the nipple the better luck you will have!  I look forward to seeing your knapping skills!  Joe

Sasquatch:
Yall inspired me to give a Clovis the go.  I chose a spall of heated landscape stone.  I didn't have much bigger piece to begin with. It was a river cobble that had a bashed up exterior.  Some of that still appears in stone. Ill start with a bigger piece next time so I can get it more uniform next time.

Sasquatch:
I went after this rootbeer, with all abo.  I ended up with a cricket killer.  But its a clovis.  One side fluted well and the other did not.  it was hard to hold the thing.

Sasquatch:
sorry i posted it without pics.   :o
