I never tried a straight stick type hook. It would be hard to get most fish around here to actually swallow it without them feeling you and spitting it out.
Here's three more I made today
Indian moss agate, which I dropped and broke after it was finished,

Very nice hooks 1492. :) They look like they could attract a bite by them selves.

they do have an attraction to hungry fish for sure.
Here's one I made for a catfish this Memorial day weekend coming up.
