Majuba, I have a slim idea that a drill like
yours would be self sharpening and very effective.

I am trying to find time to experiment more.
One from gnarly English I made to be hafted and some
personal finds.

Yep Dalton,
Soapstone, almost 3/4 ". I think slate is softer.
I had a lot of banded slate but gave it away.
