Eddie gave me a couple of coral chunks that I started on at the Classic and just finished. Gotta say that I really like working it. Hope to paint it red in a few months 8) Thanks again Eddie!

I love coral. Sharper than hell and durable. Reminds me of ct quartz but pleasurable to work. Good job on that piece too tracy

very nice point! The moth is a silk worm moth. We use the cocoons here in California to make old time Dr rattles. I will take a pic of the one down stairs later.

Really, I would have guessed that to be a recently emerged cecropia moth. I'd have to see it with the wings spread to know for sure.  Been a long time since I saw one.

That coral was like candy, Tracy. You made a nice point out of it and coral looks nice in red.
