All right, I finally got the pictures, here they are. I'm shooting my Osage character bow, with a few modifications to it, some of you might have seen it at Mojam.
The arrow in the picture is the first I have made for this fall, it's my hog arrow  >:D. It weighs just under 600 grains, a ton for my 46 lb 24" draw bow! If I get close, though, it'll do the job better than a lighter one. The head is out of metal from VB, great stuff!

btw, after modification, the above mentioned bow (the same one I did the build-along for) is 58" long, 46lb@24" and shoots better than any of my other bows I've made yet.

Nice rig there Dana! Man, those Tonkin shafts from Bob are the real deal - I'm already dreamin of the next set I'll make out of it. Looks like you got some killers there - and of course Dane's bowsock ;D.

  Was looking at your set up and wondered what the silencer looking tuft of fur at the nock was for???

I just added it to go further towards silencing the bow, as I had a hog jump the string last year (even though I wasn't going to hit him anyway... :P....).
So I think from that experience I'm a bit overly cautious this year.  ::)
