Dang, the only way I ever got one of those ground squirrels was to shoot into the dirt so it skewered them down a couple inches in the hole.  They were too quick to hit above ground.  Very impressive.  Nice buck too. :)

Thanks George! Actually if you look close enough you can see another arrow shaft right by his front-right leg. That arrow went in the ground short and hit him in the eye. The second arrow was a follow-up shot 'cause I wasn't sure I got him (was still kicking a little).
