Yew Warbow - 130-140# question.

Now recently I got a really nice with Yew. Long about 82 inches and 2x2 inches wide and thick.
I do not know the size to work with yew about 130-140 #

Many Mary Rose bows are just a little under 1 1/2" wide at the centre (I think the very widest is 42mm) and 1 1/4" deep.  I'm sure 40 x 35mm would achieve your aim.  The wood looks nice and dense.

It is my opinion that your piece of yew is not dense enough to make 130-140#. It looks to me like your stave only has maybe 20 rpi. It's hard to tell without some sort of measuring reference. Could you take a picture with a ruler beside your stave?
